Rahul Gandhi was born 19 June 1970 at delhi.He was born the son of Rajiv Gandhi a grandson of Indra Gandhi, and a great grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru all of whom second prime minister of India, His mother is Soniya Gandhi also played a leading role in the Indian National Congress party.

  • Why cancled membership of Rahul Gandhi from Lok Sabha

    Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi’s membership of Parliament has been cancelled following his conviction and sentencing by a local court in Surat on Thursday. A notification issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat on Friday said Rahul “stands disqualified from the membership of Lok Sabha from the date of his conviction i.e. 23 March, 2023 in terms of the provisions of under Article 102(1)(e) of the Constitution of India read with Section 8 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951”. Section 8(3) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 states that “a person convicted of any offence and sentenced to imprisonment for not less than two years shall be disqualified from the date of such conviction and shall continue to be disqualified for a further period of six years since his release.”
